Dear Kingstree Residents,
As we begin the mowing season for 2025, the Board would like to send out some information and updates to the community. Cameron’s, Inc. has been bought by Bland Landscaping, Inc. but is retaining the crew. They will remain Kingstree’s Landscape Vendor.
Starting this month ‐ March, you will see the Bland’s trucks in the community taking care of the common areas and the townhomes.
40’ and 50’ April ‐ September Lawn Care
According to the Association’s Governing documents, the Association must regularly take care of the front yard lawn area only. This will only include mowing, edging & blowing. Aerating, seeding and fertilizing will NOT be included. The Association cuts the front yards once a month between April and September. The schedule for your section and timeframe is attached by ZONE. 60’ lots do not pay for or receive any lawn services to their yards.
As many of you are aware, for over a decade the Kingstree Board, in conjunction with the landscape company, has permitted owners to OPT OUT of landscape services. If you live in a 40’ or 50’ lot and would prefer to OPT OUT, you must email the Board of Directors ‐ KingstreeBOD@yahoo.com. You must include your name and property address. Once your address is added to the NO MOW list you will be responsible for maintaining a healthy and weed free manicured lawn for the duration of the season. You must add your name and property address to the OPT OUT list every year. Townhome owners are not permitted to OPT OUT.
Please keep in mind, that even if the Association is cutting your front yard once a month, you are still responsible for maintaining the sides and back yards weekly – and the front yard on weeks the Association does not cut ‐ during growing season. In addition, you are also responsible for maintaining your shrubs and trees.
All of this information will be stored on the Kingstree Portal ‐ www.MyAMGConnect.com. If you have not already registered, please make sure you sign up to get the latest updates (including rain delays, etc.).
If you have any questions or concerns regarding: common area lawn care, the 40’, 50’ homes lawncare and/or the townhome lawn care, the lawn service company suggests you email them directly:
